The Kansas City Repertory Theatre is combining music and ghost stories to create a new Kansas City Halloween tradition –Ghost Light: A Haunted Night of Songs and Stories from KC’s Cultural Crossroads.
Ghost Night is an outdoor story experience taking place on the south lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, inside the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park. Under the starts in the dark of night participants will hear local tales of spirits, hauntings and the great unknown from Kansas City’s cultural crossroads.
The experience is recommended for those 8+.
Ghost Night Performance Schedule
Performances are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the evenings listed below. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. Don’t be late because the show starts right at 7 p.m. and no late seating will be allowed.

Ghost Night Tickets
Tickets go on sale Oct. 1.
Seating is sold in “pods” that seat up to four people. The price per pod is $80. If you have a full party, this breaks down to $20 per person which is pretty reasonable for a concert or theatre performance.
Here’s what you should bring to Ghost Night:
Lawn chairs and blankets. Spots will be assigned and distanced at least six fee apart from other groups. Reach out to the KCRep box office about wheelchair or accessible seating.
Food and drink. Bring your own from home if you like but concessions will be sold including a coffee bar, wine and homemade cookies.
Masks. These can be taken off once if you’re seated and eating or drinking, but need to be worn when you’re coming and going or using the restroom.
No Pets. Only service animal are allowed.
