Alexander Majors House Kid-Friendly Ghost Tours

The Alexander Majors House has Halloween fun for the entire family with Kid-Friendly Ghost Tours.

Tours happen October 7 from 6 to 9 p.m., leaving every 15 minutes.  

Families are treated to a tour of the Alexander Majors house led by junior museum volunteers. It’s a ghost tour for kids, by kids. Halloween crafts and themed snacks are included. 

Majors House Kid-Friendly Ghost Tour Ticket Prices:

• Adults: FREE
• Children: $10 (a cap of $30 per family)

Majors House Ghost Tours for Adults

This special tour of the Alexander Majors House gives a historical and spooky look at the house, 19th century ghost legends and spirits believed to roam the Majors house today.

The Majors House Adults-only ghost tours happen from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on the following nights. Tours leave every 15 minutes.

Wornall House Ghost & Architectural Tours

The John Wornall House hosts Anatomy of a Haunted House, a combination spooky event with an architectural twist. This tour focuses less on ghost stories and more about Victorian architectural and perils of the era. 

The Wornall House Anatomy of a Haunted House Tours happen October 22. Three times are offered: 

• 6:30 p.m.
• 7:30 p.m.
• 8:30 p.m.

Anatomy of a Haunted House tickets are $15 can be purchased online.

Wornall/Majors House Location and Parking

The Wornall/Majors Museum operates two of Kansas City’s most historic structures from the mid-nineteenth century. 

The Majors House is located at 8201 State Line Road in Kansas City, MO. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the Alexander Majors House on the north side.  Parking is FREE.

The Wornall house is located at 6115 Wornall Road in Kansas City, MO. The Wornall House has a small adjacent parking lot located on the east side of the house. Additional free street parking is available on 61st Terrace.
