The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce ushers in fall with sizzling bratwursts and sounds of oom-pah during the annual Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest September 23-25, 2022 in downtown Lee’s Summit.
Enjoy Kids Street, arts and crafts, German meals, beer and brat tents, the Biergarten, carnival, the Sportzelt, live entertainment, contests, a Rootbiergarten, home brew tasting, German dancers and much more.
Admission is FREE.
There is a cost for select activities, including concession, carnival, arts and crafts, etc. The carnival is cash only. You can buy single tickets or wristbands to ride.

- $35 – 40 tickets
- $60 – 80 tickets
- $25 – Daily wristbands for unlimited rides
Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest Competitions
Homebrew Competition: Homebrewers will show off their brewing skills this year on Saturday, September 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Biergarten.
Tasting tickets are $30 per personl. Each ticket includes unlimited homebrew samples for three hours. Must be 21+.
Stein Hoisting Competition: Competitors use one hand to hold a full stein of beer at arm’s length without spilling any. The competition is on Saturday, September 24 at 2:15 p.m.
There is a $25 entry fee that gets you a commemorative glass stein full of cold beer. Two winners will be named.
Must be 21 or older to participate.
Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest Hours
The fall season and sounds of oom-pah usher in fun for all ages at Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest.
Friday, September 23: 5 to 11 p.m.
Saturday, September 24: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, September 25: noon to 4 p.m. (carnival only)
Oktoberfest Location & Parking
Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest is located in Downtown Lee’s Summit, Missouri between 2nd and 4th streets and Green and Jefferson streets.
Free parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage at 2nd and Green Street.
