Growl-O-Ween – Leawood

Three Dog Bakery – 4322 W 119th St, Leawood, KS

The Leawood bakery is hosting the annual Growl-O-Ween celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Attendees can enjoy trick or treating from the pastry cases and game.

Participants can also take photos for the virtual costume contest being held on Facebook. The top three photos with the most likes win. Dogs can have six Growl-O-Ween treats for $15 or a dozen for $25.

Growl-O-Ween Tricks for Treats – Plaza

Noon – 2 p.m.
Mill Creek Park – 50 W 47th St, Kansas City, MO

The Plaza bakery is hosting the annual Growl-o-Ween Tricks for Treats at Mill Creek Park on Saturday, Oct. 26. Meet at the park at noon to check in or for day-of event registration. Maps and treat bags will be given to all participants trick-or-treating at dog-friendly shops on the Country Club Plaza.

Cost is:

$12 per dog (advanced registration)
$15 per dog (day-of registration)

Plaza Costume Contest: There is no in-person costume contest this year, but you can participate virtually.
To enter, go to the Three Dog Bakery – Country Club Plaza Facebook page and post a picture of your dog in costume.

The top three photos with the most “likes” wins a Three Dog Bakery gift basket.

The contest runs through Nov. 2. Winners are announced Nov. 3. Open to U.S. entries only.
