Trunk or Treat
Sunday, October 17, 2021
4 – 6 p.m.
Lakeside Nature Center, 4701 E Gregory Blvd. KCMO
This is a drive-thru event where a variety of Halloween goodies are handed out. The adventure begins by receiving a Jack-O-Lantern containing some animal trading cards and a scavenger hunt game. A prize is given to all who complete the hunt.

Halloween Hunt

Tony Aguirre Community Center, 2050 W Pennway St., KCMO
Ages: 12 years and under
FREE with a canned good donation
Bring your scary ghouls and goblins (ages 12 and under) to the front lawn of the Tony Aguirre Community Center. They will be able to fill their bags with hidden Halloween treats while listening to the scary sounds of Halloween. After the candy is found, hotdogs, chips and bottled water will be served.

This is a drive-thru Trunk or Treat event. The first 50 people will get a treat bag.

Kids Halloween Carnival

FREE
Carnival games, candy, prizes, photo booth and more are set up for kids up to sixth grade. Adults must accompany all kids.

Spooky Skate

Line Creek Community Center, 5940 NW Waukomis Dr., KCMO
Wear a costume and get FREE admission to the annual Spooky Skate on October 30. Goodie bags are given to the first kids ages 3-13 online or sign up in person at Line Creek or KC North Community Centers. There is also a Haunted Train ride and Halloween Selfie Station at the party.

Halloween Walktober

Free – Registration is Requested
How about a walk in a cemetery on Halloween! This is a festive afternoon event especially for families. Wear a costume and collect treats as you walk around the peaceful and historic setting of Union Cemetery. Established in 1857, Union Cemetery was located between Westport and the town of Kansas and used by both towns, becoming a “union” between the two.
