Here are the Kansas City kids’ New Year’s Eve parties for 2017-2018:
Kansas City Zoo
Zoo Year’s Eve
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: FREE with paid zoo admission.
Includes: “Festive enrichment items” for zoo animals, an interactive DJ, and a party hat.
New Year’s Eve Party
Time: Noon to 6 p.m.
Cost: FREE with Foam Factory or Flex Pass Admission
Includes: Party favors, North Pole battle, holiday music, a holiday treat, and a ball drop at noon.
Science City at Union Station
Noon Year’s Eve Party
Time: Noon to 7 p.m.
Cost: $13.25; FREE for Union Station members
Includes: Science demonstrations, stage shows, robotics fun, maker activities, special guests, and a balloon drop.
Noon Year’s Eve Party (Independence, North Kansas City and Olathe)
Time: 4 p.m.
Includes: All-You-Can-Play Activities or All-You-Can-Play Arcade Games
Noon Year’s Eve Party (Shawnee and Lee’s Summit)
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Includes: 2 hours of jumping, party favors, and a mini slushie toast at 12 p.m.
Noon Year’s Overnight Lock In (Shawnee and Lee’s Summit)
Time: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Includes: a DJ, glow, relay races, dance contests, prizes, and pizza, drinks & snacks available all night (ages 13-17).

New Year’s Eve Family 2019
Time: 5 to 8 p.m.
Includes: an appetizer buffet, dessert, unlimited soft drinks, $20 Power Card, and a video ball drop to ring in the New Year’s.
