Worlds of Fun Winterfest will return in 2021!

~~On select nights this season, the park pulls out all the stops to become one of Kansas City’s most amazing holiday wonderlands.~~

Worlds of Fun Winterfest Fun

There are plenty of magical experiences for all ages including lights, decor, live performances, shopping, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating and more. Some activities are an additional cost beyond park admission.

Lights display: More than five million lights decorate the park divided into 10 themed areas.

70-foot Christmas tree: Each night at 5:30 p.m. festivities come alive with a tree lighting ceremony that includes live performances, snowfall and a countdown for Snoopy and friends to flip the switch. The tree makes a great place for photos.

Festive activities: There are 12 special attractions families can take advantage of in the park including ice skating, cookie decorating Mrs. Claus, letter writing to Santa, visiting Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree lot and dancing.

Holiday shopping: More than 20 Kansas City artisans will have handmade collectibles for sale each night of Winterfest. The selection is pretty broad and includes apparel, mosaics, decorative wreaths, personal care and specialty food items (including samples!). FREE package pick-up service is available so you can shop and not have to worry about carrying your bags around all evening.

Live entertainment: Singing and dancing happens on stages throughout the park.

Food and beverages: Winterfest concessions are as festive as the atmosphere around you. Indulge in festive funnel cakes, winter egg rolls and holiday pizza.

Worlds of Fun Winterfest 2019 Admission

~~General admission at the door is $38; $27 for juniors and seniors (under 48″ tall or age 62+). You can save money when you purchase tickets online. That makes adults $32 and juniors and seniors $23.~~

~~You can also save $2 off the regular parking price of $19 if you purchase your parking pass online.~~

Opening Gate Special

For a limited time, you can buy one Winterfest ticket at the gate price of $38 and get one ticket FREE. That $38 savings will buy a lot of stocking stuffers. Even though you’re paying “gate” prices, you’ll need to make your purchase online.

~~To get the BOGO offer, tickets must be purchased by Thursday, Nov. 21. Your one-time admission can be used on one of the following dates:~~

2020 Worlds of Fun Season Passes

Another option for enjoying Winterfest 2019 is to purchase a 2020 Worlds of Fun season pass now. By doing so, you can get unlimited visits to Worlds of Fun through the rest of 2019 and then enjoy the fun again in 2020.
