About the Lenexa Art Fair
The Lenexa Art Fair is a one-day outdoor celebration of creativity featuring approximately 50 juried artists from around the region. Visitors can shop original artwork, listen to live jazz, enjoy hands-on children’s activities, grab food from local vendors, and explore the Lenexa Farmers Market in the morning.
In the afternoon, adults ages 21 and older can also enjoy a free tasting event featuring local wineries and craft breweries.
Event Highlights
- 🎨 Juried artist booths featuring paintings, pottery, jewelry, glass, photography, fiber art, woodwork, metal art and more
- 🎷 Live jazz and acoustic music throughout the day
- 🖌 Children’s art activities and face painting

- 🛍 Lenexa Farmers Market from 8:00 AM to noon
- 🍷 Free wine and craft beer tasting from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for guests 21+

Food, Drinks & Tasting Event
Food trucks will be on site with a variety of meals, snacks and sweet treats. Planned vendors include Burritos Lagos, Eat Schmidt, The Hungry Hatch, KC Treat Truck and One More Scoop. Additional dining options are available inside Lenexa Public Market.
The free tasting event runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and features local wineries and breweries. Guests must be 21 or older with valid ID to participate or purchase alcohol.

Is the Lenexa Art Fair free?
Yes. Admission to the Lenexa Art Fair is free.
Is this event family-friendly?
Yes. Families are welcome, and children can enjoy art activities, face painting and sidewalk chalk.
Do you have to be 21 to attend?
No. All ages may attend the art fair. Guests must be 21 or older with valid ID to participate in the wine and beer tasting or purchase alcohol.
Can visitors bring outside alcohol or coolers?
No. Outside alcohol and coolers are not allowed. Food, wine, beer and other refreshments will be available at the event.
Are dogs allowed?
The city prefers dogs be left at home. If you bring a dog, it should remain on a short leash, stay calm around crowds, and be cleaned up after.
Are bikes or skateboards allowed inside the event?
Bikes, skateboards and motorized vehicles are not allowed in the event area, except for mobility devices needed by people with disabilities.
