Count on a full day of science play over Labor Day Weekend at the annual PNC Foundation kidFEST hosted at Science City on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019.
Activities, geared towards early childhood science education, include hands-on, learning fun featuring themed counting activities and workshops all day long, the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure, Planetarium shows, and special guests such as Walkaround Super Grover 2.0 from Sesame Street, Belger Arts Center, face painters, balloon artists and more.
The PNC Mobile Learning Adventure is a traveling exhibit that focuses on the importance of early childhood education through fun activities and everyday moments. The exhibit features interactive kiosks and a “When I Grow Up” station were your kids can dress up and pretend to be professionals in different careers.
kidFEST runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Science City located inside Union Station at 30 West Pershing Road in Kansas City, Missouri. A full schedule of activities will be shared soon, so be sure to check back.
