Pharaoh Cinema is offering three weekly options for free and cheap movies in Independence this summer.
On Thursday nights, through August 6, you can watch FREE family-friendly Moonlight Movies on the Independence Square. Movies start at sundown, about 9 p.m., and are projected on the side of the Pharaoh Cinema building.
And, on Friday nights through August 7, you can watch Cinema Night Classics, favorite movies from the past, many also family-friendly and all suitable for Date Night. Movies start at sundown, about 9 p.m. If the weather is bad, the event will move inside.
Pharaoh is adding a new discount option this year, too: Retro Movie Night on Wednesdays, where you can see cinema classics inside for just $6 a ticket. Retro movies start at 7 p.m. In fact, every movie at the theater is $6 all day Wednesday.
Make sure to bring chairs for the outdoor movies events. Concession stands will be open if you want to buy snacks or drinks.
