Author J.K. Rowling is bringing magic to muggles with “Harry Potter at Home,” a FREE website with a collection of online activities for kids.
The new website promises to cast a Banishing Charm on boredom. Kids can explore and enjoy crafts, video, quizzes, articles, puzzles and more, including special contributions from Bloomsbury and Scholastic. If somehow you’re not already a Harry Potter fan happiness can still be found as the content is designed for first-time readers as well as longtime fans of the wizarding world.
Additionally, the first book in Rowling’s series, Harry Potter and the Philospher’s Stone has also been available as an eBook and audiobook in more than 20 languages.
In addition to the online fun, you can get some great FREE access to the first book in J.K. Rowling’s series Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It’s available for free on Audible so you can start the series or enjoy rereading a old favorite.
Rowlings knows kids aren’t the only ones needing some magic to get through these weird times. She has provided a FREE license so teachers can read all seven Harry Potter books aloud to students in virtual reading sessions. Here’s more on how this works.
