Who says hunting for goodies is just for the Easter Bunny?
The Sylvester Powell, Jr. Community Center is hosting a Grinch candy cane hunt for kids in nearby Beverly Park on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019.
Once all the candy canes have been saved from the Grinch, everyone can warm up inside the center with hot chocolate and cookies. A showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas will follow.
The event is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for kids ages 5-12. Parental supervision is required.
