The Stilwell Community Organization is hosting a FREE Fourth of July celebration on July 4.
Attendees can participate in a variety of activities, including a community parade and fireworks display.
Stilwell Fourth of July Event Schedule
5 p.m.: Parade Line Up. Participants line up at 192nd Street.
6 p.m.: Fourth of July Parade. The parade route is from 192nd Street; South on Metcalf; East on 199th ending at the railroad tracks. (Theme: 250 Years of Courage, Community, and Country)
7:00 p.m.: Live Music. Following the parade, Pompus Jack will perform at Stilwell Station Stage.
9:30 p.m.: Fireworks Display. Fireworks will launch from the Evergy Service Center located at 19950 Newton Street (69 Highway and 199th Street) in Stilwell, KS. Personal fireworks are not allowed at the Stilwell Fireworks display. You can reserve your spot on the field the afternoon of the 4th.
The display is scheduled to launch at 9:30 pm. Depending on the weather, the display can launch as early as 9:00 pm but no later than 10:00 pm.
