Take in the patriotic display in downtown Merriam during Flags 4 Freedom set up in conjunction with the Fourth of July holiday.

It’s FREE to stroll around and look at the display of flags set up to honor our nation. A special line of blue flags is featured to honor local Kansas police officers that lost their lives in the line of duty.
Merriam Flags 4 Freedom are located at the Merriam Marketplace along Merriam and Johnson Drive.
The Flags 4 Freedom display schedule for 2022 is:
July 2: Flag installation at Merriam Marketplace
July 4: Day of Reflection
July 9: Flag display taken down.
