Kansas City Wing Fest is a smokin’ good time where you get to try wings from some of the best wing joints in town and take in a night of live music. It puts the right amount of kick into your Labor Day Weekend celebration.
The festival will be from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019 at Knuckleheads Saloon in the East Bottoms at 2715 Rochester Avenue in Kansas City, MO.
Tickets are $25, which makes it a little pricey for some of the events we promote, but the price is pretty good since it includes fun and entertainment from afternoon into the night. You’ll get samples from 15 local restaurants, a chance to play yard games and music from several bands, including Uncle Kracker, Big Time Grain Company and the Crayons. Order your Kansas City Wingfest tickets here.
You’ll also get to cast your ballot for your favorite chicken and cauliflower wings. Sampling and judging is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Live music starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m.
Are you wondering what cauliflower wings are? I did a quick search and they are large florets of cauliflower that are seasoned, baked and dredged in buffalo sauce. With the right preparation they can be vegan-friendly.
