Online savings for Gieringer's Sunflower Fest

Gieringer’s Family Orchard and Berry Farm is hosting the first-ever Gieringer’s Sunflower Fest the second and third weekends of August. There are more than 10 acres of sunflowers to see and lots of activities for parents and kids looking to fit in some outdoor fun.

Gieringer’s Sunflower Fest will be held on the grounds of their orchard and berry farm in Edgerton, KS. They’ll have a sunflower field, tractor wagon rides, a kids’ play area, on-site vendors, food trucks and places for relaxing in their 1800s homestead area. Gieringer’s famous blueberry donuts and peach and strawberry slushies will be available for purchase.

Sunflower Fest Location and Hours

This family-fun affair is at Gieringer’s Family Orchard and Berry Farm located at 39345 W. 183rd, Edgerton, KS 66021. There are two weekends to enjoy the sunflowers:

Friday, Aug. 9: 4 pm – 8 pm

Saturday, Aug. 10: 10 am – 8 pm

Sunday, Aug. 11: 2 pm – 8 pm

Friday, Aug. 16: 4 pm – 8 pm

Saturday, Aug. 17: 10 am – 8 pm

Sunday, Aug. 18: 2 pm – 8 pm

Sunflower Fest Tickets

Tickets are limited and will be restricted by day and time to ensure guests have quality time in the sunflowers and other attractions. It’s recommended you buy your tickets online to guarantee admission, plus it saves you some money and you get a free sunflower of your choice to take home.

Tickets for Saturdays and Sundays are $10 if purchased online. Kids 24 months and younger are free. At the door, you’ll pay $15 and you don’t get a take-home sunflower. And, there’s no guarantee they won’t be sold out or at capacity for the time frame you arrive.

Family Fun Fridays

Family Fun Fridays are an opportunity for some discounted sunflower fun. Tickets are $7 online and $10 at the door. You’ll get the same great fun of any other day except there won’t be any food trucks or vendors. The focus is more on the flowers and kids’ activities.

Sunflower Blooms

Want to take home extra sunflower blooms? They can be purchased online when you buy your tickets. Choose from single blooms or increments of three, six and a dozen. There are also options that come with a decorative pail (quantities limited).
