The Independence Square Association is hosting two festive events to help ring in the holiday season this year.
A Holiday Open House will be held Nov. 8 and 9, 2019. Hours will vary by stores, but you can expect to find holiday decor and unique gifts for special people in your life.
Some stores will feature sip and shop opportunities. Be sure to grab a cup of cheer!
The annual holiday lighting ceremony will happen at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 2019.
Shawn Edwards and Russ Simmons from Fox 4’s Screening Room will join. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to help turn on the lights. A guest choir and performances complete the holiday entertainment.
After the lights are shining bright there are FREE, kid-friendly activities at the Exchange Event Space on Lexington Avenue. This includes:
- Visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Letter writing to Santa
- FREE holiday craft making
