Experience the culture of India through dance, music and art at the Passport to India Festival hosted by Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on Sunday, April 19, 2020.
The festival is happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is FREE.
This event will be a celebration of Indian art, culture,language, music, dance, and fashion from the five regions of India. Activities include live music and dance performances, a fashion show, demonstrations, art activities, temporary tattoos, and more.
Food is available for purchase. You can sample Indian specialties like samosas, lentil cutlets, Murg Makhani, coconut cardamom cookies and chai.
Passport to India Festival Location and Parking
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is located at 4525 Oak Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
Parking is $10 (FREE for Museum members). There is additional off-site parking with a FREE shuttle service at the Kaufmann Foundation and Gardens, 4801 Rockhill Road.
