FREE Admission to Jammin’ on the Green concerts

Shawnee Town 1929 holds a free outdoor concert series called Jammin’ on the Green at the museum bandstand. The music moves indoors if the weather is bad.

Concerts are at 7 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month from May through September.

Here is the schedule for 2026:

• May 27: Grand Marquis
• June 24: Vine Street Rumble Jazz Orchestra (Featuring an America 250 Medley)
• July 29: Betse & Clarke String Band
• August 26: AnnaLee and the Lucky So-and-So’s
• September 30: KC Ukesters

It’ll be a great evening to pack a picnic dinner. Light refreshments will be provided. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!
