Every Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, the Overland Park Arboretum invites you to step into their magical Enchanted Forest. Discover the world of fairies, gnomes, trolls, and their tiny homes as you stroll through the arboretum. Admission is $3 for visitors 13 and older and $1 for visitors ages 6 to 12. Friends of the Arboretum and kids 5 and under are free.
Kids ages 6-10 are welcome to join art exploration classes this summer. Classes fill up quickly. Register here.
2017 Class Schedule
- June 1, July 20 or August 31 – Build A Gnome Home
- June 8 or July 27 – Write an Enchanted Story
- June 15 or August 3 – Make an Enchanted Costume
- June 29 or August 10 – Perform an Enchanted Play
- July 6 or August 17 – Create an Enchanted Painting
- July 13 or August 24 – Create an Enchanted Room
Cost: $15 per child; $10 per child with Friends of the Arboretum family membership.
The Arboretum and its cafe is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
