Celebrate the historical connection between our national pastime and baseball fan’s favorite ballpark food; the hot dog. On Saturday, August 10, 2019, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City is hosting their annual Heart of America Hot Dog Festival.
Advance purchase tickets savings are still available. If you buy tickets before Aug. 2 you’ll only pay $20 for each adult. After that, the price is $35. Order now and save yourself $15. That will buy some hot dogs.
This event, which runs from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. includes museum admission (open normal hours of 9 a.m.-6 p.m.), live music, games, mascots, food and drinks for purchase, and more. You may bring lawn chairs and umbrellas, but no coolers or outside food/drink. Gates open at 2 p.m. The first act takes the stage at 3 p.m.
