Two well known Kansas City haunted houses are keeping a 30-year Halloween tradition alive in the West Bottoms this year.
The Beast and The Edge of Hell haunted houses are opening Sept. 18 – Nov. 7, 2020. They will operate Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 7:30 p.m. Closing times vary, but it’s usually late (between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.). They will also be open on Oct. 29 and Nov. 1, 2020.
All employees and attendees will be required to wear a mask (a cloth one, not a Halloween mask) while in line and inside either of the haunted houses.

Opening Night Special
In honor of The Beast’s 30th anniversary, tickets on opening night (Sept. 18) will be $10 if you’re in line with a mask by 8:30 p.m. The line will be arranged so that everyone is safely spaced out. The $10 price gets you into one of the two houses and is the same admission price offered when The Beast opened in 1991.

There are four floors of terror to explore before you escape by jumping out a window or sliding down four stories.
The Edge of Hell
