Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, named in honor of a fallen Overland Park police officer, is a 12-acre, turn-of-the-century farm. It is home to over 200 animals, a fishing pond, pony rides, blacksmith demonstrations, fun playgrounds, gorgeous gardens, barns, and an old schoolhouse.
I have been taking my kids to Deanna Rose since they were toddlers and they still love it to this day. Those who have been to Deanna Rose can attest that this destination is a true gem in Kansas City. P.S. Don’t forget to bring quarters for animal feed!
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is located at 13800 Switzer Road in Overland Park, Kansas.
