Opening Day for the Farmstead marks the official start of spring for many Kansas City families. The farmstead opens for the 2020 season on Wednesday, April 1. The hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m daily.

Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead History
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, named in honor of a fallen Overland Park police officer, is a turn-of-the-century farm. It is home to many different animals, a fishing pond, pony rides, blacksmith demonstrations, fun playgrounds, gorgeous gardens, barns, and an old schoolhouse.
