Whiteman Air Force Base is planning a flyover across several Kansas City area medical facilities on Tuesday, April 28.
The spectacle is to honor and thank all the Missouri healthcare professionals, first responders, military members, essential personnel and volunteers on the frontlines of our public health crisis.
The flyover will include:
- A B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber
- Four T-38 Talons
- Two A-10 Thunderbolt IIs
Weather permitting, the aircraft will fly in progression over the following locations at these times
Here are the locations and expected time of the flyover:
10:18 a.m. Centerpoint Medical Center
10:21 a.m. Children’s Mercy Adele Hall Campus
10:28 a.m. Children’s Mercy Hospital
10:31 a.m. Lee’s Summit Medical Center
10:36 a.m. St. Luke’s East Hospital
10:39 a.m. Research Medical Center
10:39 a.m. St. Luke’s Hospital
11 a.m. Western Missouri Medical Center
11:08 a.m. Bothwell Regional Health Center
In case of inclement weather, the flyover will move to Wednesday, April 29.
Spectators are reminded to follow social distancing guidelines and avoid gathering in large crowds to view the flyover.
