Even though tours and live shows are being canceled or rescheduled, plenty of Kansas City musicians are still drumming, strumming and singing at a safe distance.
We’ve put together a list of options for listening to live music from some of your favorite local artists. In many cases, there is also a way for you to support the artist or local venue through tipping, buying merchandise, ordering food and beverages, etc.
These virtual concerts are available on multiple platforms. For most of them, we’ve linked to the appropriate Facebook page so you can watch there or see the latest updates. Be sure to check comments because sometimes hosts post the needed link there.
We continue to add more local and national events to our Virtual Events Calendar so step away from Netflix, Hulu or whatever for a bit and check out the options. If you are a local performer with a virtual show (or know someone who is), drop us a note at info@kansascityonthecheap.com and let us know details. We’ll be happy to add you to our list.
Some of our sister sites have also stepped up to support local musicians in their backyards so you can enjoy sounds from coast to coast at:
