Kids can gear up for a FREE day of ice hockey as part of Try Hockey for Free Day on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021.
This weekend, more than 350 local associations across the country will host Try Hockey for FREE Day.
Kids ages 4 to 9 are invited to come try youth hockey and see if this is the sport for them. No previous skating or hockey experience is necessary. Coaches will be on the ice to assist kids in learning the basics of the game in a fun and safe environment.
There’s a limited amount of equipment available to borrow, so registration is required with the participating rink. If you have your own, bring a helmet (bike helmets are fine), along with a pair of winter or hockey gloves.
