Teacher Appreciation Weekend at the Kansas City Zoo takes place Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3. The Kansas City Zoo is honoring teachers, administrators and home school educators with FREE admission this weekend. Just bring your educator ID with you to the front gate to take advantage of the offer.
Friends and family accompanying them will receive $3 off the price of admission.
Because it’s the first weekend of the month, you can watch the cheetah enrichment activities in the morning on either day.
The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The event is rain or shine, so if the forecast is cloudy bring your umbrella and enjoy the day.
