Smithville Lake Fireworks Show on July 4

Few things invoke summer fun like the lake and fireworks. 

Smithville Parks and Recreation hosts its annual Smithville Lake fireworks show on Saturday, July 4. 2026. The display begins at dusk, approximately 9 p.m. 

Fireworks are set off from Smith’s Fork Park/campground, 1601 DD Highway in Smithville, MO. 

The Smithville Chamber of Commerce suggest these spots for watching the show:

• Smith’s Fork Park
• the Lake near the dam
• Smith’s Fork Campground
• Surrounding areas around the park

Parking is available throughout Smith’s Fork Park. Note that the park restrooms will not be open.
