Sand Cinema at Longview Lake Beach

Pack up the family and enjoy a movie “on the beach!” The Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting three evenings of Sand Cinema at Longview Lake Beach.

Admission is just $10 per car to get in and watch a movie on the giant inflatable screen.

The movie schedule is:

• Friday, June 12, 2026: Disney’s Zootopia 2
• Friday, July 10, 2026: Elf (Christmas in July)

Don’t forget your lawn chairs and beach blankets. Concessions will be available for purchase, and there will be free games before the movies. No pets or outside food please (sorry, Fido).

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and showtime begins around 9 p.m.

Longview Lake Beach is located at 11101 Raytown Road in Kansas City, MO.
