What to Expect at the Spring Plant Sale
The Arboretum Spring Plant Sale is designed for both experienced gardeners and beginners looking for inspiration. Visitors can browse a large mix of locally grown plants while supporting future improvements, educational programming, and conservation efforts tied to the Arboretum.
Plant categories are expected to include annuals, perennials, sun and shade plants, hanging baskets, daylilies, native plants, pollinator picks, shrubs, grasses, herbs, and edible varieties. This makes the sale useful whether you are refreshing porch pots, building out a pollinator bed, or adding new plants around your yard.
Master gardeners and staff are expected to be on-site to answer questions, which can be especially helpful if you are trying to match plants to sun exposure, maintenance needs, or local growing conditions.
