The 85-year-old Kansas City iconic restaurant will celebrate National Fried Chicken Day on Saturday, July 6 with a specially priced family-style two-piece pan-fried dark chicken dinner. Each meal includes choice of salad or homemade chicken noodle soup, choice of potatoes (mashed, French fries, cottage fries or baked), green beans, gravy and homemade cinnamon rolls for $9.95. The special is available for both dine-in and carryout orders at Stroud’s Fairway and Overland Park locations only (sorry Northlanders). Stroud’s hours on Saturday, July 6 are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. so there’s plenty of time to fit this meal into your schedule.

Kentucky Fried Chicken
Kentucky Fried Chicken is offering FREE delivery through delivery partner, Grubhub, to celebrate National Fried Chicken Day. And, because Colonel Sanders thinks every occasion is a good time for a bucket of chicken, KFC is extending the FREE delivery all weekend long (through July 7).
If you purchase any KFC 10, 12 or 16-piece chicken-on-the-bone meal (in restaurant or via Grubhub), customers will receive four FREE limited time only Cinnabon Dessert Biscuits. Kansas City has plenty of locations so look here if you’re going to dine-in.

Although it’s technically not part of National Fried Chicken Day, you won’t want to miss out on Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day and the good FREE stuff that comes with it. This is happening July 9.
