A festive, pet-friendly Fourth of July celebration is happening at Lenexa Public Market Saturday, July 2.

Bring your furry friends to enjoy a costumed paw-triotic pet parade, training and pet tricks demonstrations, pet-themed vendors, giveaways and plenty of treats for dogs and their humans.
This special outdoor event is from 9 a.m. to noon. All dogs must remain outside of the market unless they are a certified service or support animal.
Lenexa Public Market Paw-triotic Pet Parade Schedule
9 a.m. – noon: Dog pools, yard games, and pet themed vendors will be set up outside on the lower commons for the duration of the event.
9:30 a.m.: First round of training and trick demos by the Johnson County 4H Dog Club.
10:30 a.m.: Second round of training and trick demos by the Johnson County 4H Dog Club.
10:45 a.m.: Line-up for the parade down the center of the Lower commons.
11 a.m.: Pet Parade around the campus! Bring your dog in a patriotic-themed costume.
10:45 a.m. Parade Grand Marshall: Lexi Blue with the Lenexa Police Department.
11:30 a.m.: Third round of training and trick demos by the Johnson County 4H Dog Club.
11:45 a.m.: Drawings for prizes, you must be present to win. Event ends afterwards.
