The City of Lee’s Summit is inviting the community to its airport open house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at the Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport, 402 NE Leinweber Rd.
This FREE family-friendly event gives you a chance to experience everything the airport has to offer and enjoy an up-close look at the various airplanes on display. There will be activities for kids, food vendors, informational booths and a flight demonstration by the KC Flight Formation Team, Kansas City’s largest home grown civilian formation team.
FREE parking is available on the east side of the airport near the intersection of Northeast Leinweber Road and Northeast Hagen Road.
