Kansas City Renaissance Festival discounts

It’s almost time for the Kansas City Renaissance Festival. Don’t miss fun for all ages at this annual fall festival. In 2026, the Renaissance Festival is open Saturdays and Sundays from September 5 through October 18, plus two Mondays: September 7 (Labor Day) and October 12. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., except for October 12, when the festival closes at 5 p.m.

Highlights of this all-ages festival traditionally include jousting knights, costumed characters, music, shows, maypole dancing, petting zoo, shops, games, and rides. The festival promises plenty of FREE family-friendly activities.

When you get hungry, you can buy turkey legs and just about anything on a stick. Alcohol can be purchased by those 21+ with a valid ID.

October 17-18: Haunted Huzzah!

Trick-or-treat around the Ren Fest grounds in your spookiest costume. 

Prepare to be enthralled by a realm where ghosts, goblins, and knights of old roam the land in search of treats and fun. Dress up in your most creative costumes (or come as you are). 

Halloween isn’t the the only special theme at Renfest. Each weekend will have a different theme, from romance to Vikings to dogs.

Ticket Discounts

The Renaissance Festival is offering all kinds of discounts, with some varying by weekend. For most of these deals, you must buy your ticket at the gate and not online and bring ID and proof of qualification. You can find all the discount offers and details here.

Regular admission price at the gate is $27.95 for adults, $18.95 for children 5-12 and $25.25 for seniors 65 and older. Children 4 and younger are free. Those prices don’t include fees. You can also buy season passes or family packages, as well as an adult two-pack for $22.85, including fees. You can find all the online ticket options here.

Recurring Discounts (Every Weekend)

• Military & First Responders: Save $5 off an adult ticket with a valid work ID.
• Wyandotte County Locals: Save $5 off with a driver’s license showing eligible local zip codes.
• Renaissance Scholars & Reading Quest: K-12 and college students with As and Bs get in free, while Reading Quest participants and accompanying adults receive special ticket offers.
• Artisan Appreciation: Spending over $200 with festival crafters qualifies visitors for free return tickets.

Weekend-by-Weekend Deals

• Weekend 1 (September 5-7): Features a Harvester’s canned food BOGO offer, college student specials, motorcycle and Fringe Festival discounts, and Celebration of Cities savings for Kansas City residents.

The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is located 15 minutes west of downtown Kansas City at 633 N. 130^th Street, Bonner Springs, KS.

Parking is FREE every day of the festival.
