It’s easy to let costs creep up when you’re ordering flowers. We’re scouting for deals and will share here when we find them. In the meantime, here are some off-the-path ideas for scoring beautiful Mothers Day flower arrangements without spending too much money.
Be creative with your containers. Many of the best offers on Mother’s Day flower arrangements do NOT include vases. Pick up your flowers and put them in a mason jar with a pretty ribbon or pick up a vase for a few dollars at a thrift shop or Goodwill store.
Aldi’s: Options will vary by local store, but this week’s ad features some good Mothers’ Day flower arrangements. We recommend picking these up sooner rather than later to avoid missing out on the best selection.
Farmer’s Markets: Many vendors at farmer’s markets around Kansas City offer fresh cut flower arrangements or greenery plants at good prices. We’re partial to ferns, shrubs, herbs and other plants because they can be enjoyed longer than flowers.

Price Chopper: Kansas City area Price Chopper stores are offering some reasonable Mothers’ Day flower arrangements. A one dozen rose bouquet (assorted colors) for $19.99.
Whole Foods: Whole Foods Market is selling a 15-stem bunch of tulips for $9.99 — available exclusively to Amazon Prime members.
