Wornall/Majors House Ghost Tours

The Alexander Major House is steeped in history and long considered to be among the most haunted locations in Kansas City and the U.S.

Just in time for Halloween, the museum is hosting events likely to heighten your senses and send chills down your spine.

Alexander Majors House Ghost Tours

The Alexander Majors House is offering audio-guided tours of the museum, which is known for its frontier history and paranormal phenomena. This Spirits in the Halls event is family-friendly.

The Haunted Audio self-guided tours are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2026. The last admission is at 3:30 p.m. Bring your own Internet-connected device and headlines. Wired headphones will be available.

Majors House host Tour Ticket Prices:

•  $10 for adults and $5 for children

Wornall/Majors House Location and Parking

The Wornall/Majors Museum operates two of Kansas City’s most historic structures from the mid-nineteenth century. 

The Majors House is located at 8201 State Line Road in Kansas City, MO. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the Alexander Majors House on the north side.  Parking is FREE.

The Wornall house is located at 6115 Wornall Road in Kansas City, MO. The Wornall House has a small adjacent parking lot located on the east side of the house. Additional free street parking is available on 61st Terrace.
