There’s no good reason you can’t start Irish festivities well before St. Patrick’s Day in Kansas City.
The Irish Center of Kansas City is hosting its ninth annual Irish WinterFest Feb. 29 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Drexel Hall. The celebration features local and regional musicians, food, drinks and “craic”. If you don’t know, craic is the prominent term in Ireland for enjoyable conversation around news, gossip, fun and pretty much anything entertaining.
