The City of Leawood is holding its annual July 4th Celebration in City Park from noon to 10 p.m. on July 4.

Come enjoy some live music, kids’ activities, food and beverages from vendors and fireworks.

Leawood Aquatic Center Open • 12-6 pm (Regular admission fees apply).
Kids Activities and Entertainment • 6-9:30 pm
Food Vendors • 6-9:30 pm
Twice On Sunday • 7-9:30 pm
Fireworks • 9:45 pm (approximately)
Location, Parking & Transportation
City Park is located at 10601 Lee Boulevard, Leawood, KS.
City Park is closed to all vehicles on July 4.
Park and Walk: There will be limited FREE parking along Tomahawk Creek Parkway and in the North Lake parking lot located on the east side of Tomahawk Creek Parkway. Solar lighting will guide you along the trail to College Boulevard, but bring a flashlight for extra visibility.
Park and Shuttle: Beginning at 10 a.m., FREE shuttle buses will be running from the parking lots of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Leawood Justice Center to City Park. Bus service is temporarily suspended at 9:30 p.m. and resumes following the fireworks display.
