VillageFest in Prairie Village, KS is a patriotic way to start your morning on the Fourth of July.

This FREE community event offers fun and activities for all ages on Independence Day. (July 4th from 7:30 AM – 1 PM)
Bake up your best because the VillageFest Pie Baking Contest featuring made-from-scratch pies is back.
Prizes are given in several categories and as a grand prize. This year, the contest takes place inside City Hall. Judging begins at 9 a.m. and winners are announced by 10:30 a.m.
Schedule of Events:
8:30 – Patriotic Ceremony & Community Spirit Awards at Harmon Park Pavilion, Star Spangled Banner performed by Kristy Lambert
9:15 – Mayor’s welcome from the CFD2 Bucket Truck on the Skate Park Lawn
7:30-9 Pie Baking Contest Registration & pie drop off inside City Hall
11:00 – Pie contest results on the main stage
11:00 – Line up for the children’s parade that begins at 11:15. Decorate your bikes, trikes & wagons to parade down Mission Road. All are welcome to participate. No registration necessary.
Entertainment
10 a.m. – “Mr. Stinky Feet” and the Hiccups on the Main Stage—Across from City Hall
11 a.m. – MultiPhonic on the Main Stage—Across from City Hall
Sterling Silver Sound DJ at Harmon Pavilion & Skate Park parking lot
Free Swim
12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Prairie Village Pool
