North Kansas City, in cooperation with the Music Performance Trust Fund, Local 34-627, presents free Friday afternoon summer concerts at Macken Park from June 5 through September 25.
Two free evening concerts also are planned in July and August.
The Friday in the Park free concerts are from from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Festival Shelter in Macken Park. Performers present all genres, from Hawaiian to jazz to Cajun to country to Mexican and German music.
