Pull in for a FREE screening of The Disrupted, a documentary film exploring the lives of three hardworking Americans (a farmer, factory worker and Uber driver) whose middle class existence slips away.
The FREE screening is Tuesday, Sept. 1 at The Boulevard Drive-In Theatre located at 1051 Merriam Ln, Kansas City, KS. Parking spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event is FREE but you need to register (one RSVP per car).
Viewers are advised to arrive between 6:30 and 7 p.m. to secure a spot. The drive-in accommodates 350 cars spaced out for health and safety reasons. Screening time begins between 8 and 9:30 p.m. The exact time depends on twilight.
The drive-in restrooms will be available, but the concessions stand will be closed. Viewers are welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks. Glass bottles or containers are not allowed.
This special screening is hosted in partnership with Kansas Farmers Union, the Kansas Rural Center, Missouri Farmers Union, Cultivate KC, and Good Natured Family Farms.
Special Celebrity Appearance
The public screening includes a socially distanced appearance by one of the film’s stars and a home-state celebrity, Donn Teske, a fifth-generation Kansas farmer and President of the Kansas Farmers Union.
