National Taco Day is October 4.
Celebrate this foodie holiday in Kansas City with some FREE and cheap taco offers at these local restaurants and national chains.
The word taco is kind of like the Mexican equivalent of the English word sandwich. You get a soft or hard tortilla (made of corn, wheat or flour) that is filled with just about anything.
Common fillings are beef, chicken or seafood. Figure in toppings like tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, onion, salsa, cilantro, avocado and sour cream and you’ve got a pretty versatile dish.
Get your fill of this Mexican food favorite on National Taco Day!
