On Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., the National World War I Museum will host a free teacher appreciation day for all classroom teachers. Teachers will be admitted to the museum for free. You must have appropriate identification to take advantage of this deal.
In addition to free museum admission, teachers will also get a 10% discount at the Museum Store.
Members of the Kansas City Museum Educators Roundtable will be attending this event and handing out educational materials about Kansas City museums and historic sites.
