Lee’s Summit Legacy Blast Independence Day Celebration

Legacy Blast in Lee’s Summit is scheduled for July 3 at Legacy Park.

This FREE Independence Day celebration and fireworks celebration is co-hosted by the City of Lee’s Summit and the Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Department. Working together, these groups are offering a festive combination of fun and entertainment, including: 

Concessions

Face painting

Balloon artists

Kids’ inflatables

DJs

Interactive games

Selfie stations

Choreographed fireworks show

The gates at Legacy Park open at 6 p.m. The fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m. It is choreographed to music and simulcast on 94.9 KCMO.

Legacy Blast Location & Parking

Legacy Park is located at 1201-1501 NE Legacy Park Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO.

Park access is closed at 9:15 p.m. to allow everyone to park before the start of the fireworks show.
