Stone Lion Puppets and Kansas City Parks & Recreation will host Illuminated Waters Festival on Saturday, Aug. 15. Admission is FREE.
This festival will take place at Theis Park between Oak and West 47th Streets in Kansas City, Missouri. Activities include an interactive festival of art, environmental education projects, music and food. Daytime festivities are followed by a GIANT puppet show of enormous proportions and a night glow festival of lighted puppets, glowing art, hula hoopers, spinners, music and fun!
The festival is from 6 to 10 p.m. The Giant Puppet Show will begin at 8:30 p.m.
