The Flying Saucer is hosting the annual KC Beer Fest in the Kansas City Power & Light District. It’s sure to be a good time for anyone with a taste for hand-picked craft beers from around the world.
The event is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. Live music and food trucks will be part of the fun along with samplings of 200+ craft beers. This is a 21 and over event. No minors will be allowed.
Admission Tickets
Buy your ticket online by Aug. 15, 2019 for $40 (plus fees and taxes). The price will be more at the gate, but the organizer’s website doesn’t say by how much. It’s probably safe to assume at least $5 to $10. General admission tickets include entrance to the festival at 3 p.m. and a souvenir tasting glass you’ll use for unlimited beer samplings.
There is a VIP ticket option for $65 that gets you into the gate at 2 p.m. and grants you access to an exclusive VIP area and private restrooms.
Location and Parking
KC Beer Fest is at Grand Boulevard, Walnut Street, and Kansas City Live! in the Power & Light District. Entrances will be located at the intersection of 13th Street and Grand Boulevard and 13th Street and Walnut.
Parking is available for $10 in the Kansas City Live! garage located on 13th Street at Grand Boulevard. Overnight parking is available for KC Beer Fest attendees because, well it’s a beer festival.
You can also opt to take the KC Streetcar with your best stops being 12th and Main or 14th and Main (just one block from KC Beer Fest’s main entrance.
