The Rotary Club of Eastern Independence is hosting the Independence Uncorked Wine Festival Saturday, September 14, 2019, on the grounds of the Bingham-Waggoner Estate. Tickets are $30 in advance; $40 at the door. Your ticket includes a free sampling glass and a four-bottle wine carrying bag for the first 2,000 people.
This event includes wine sampling from 25 Missouri wineries,beer, art, music, wine classes and food for purchase. Proceeds from the event will benefit various national and local charities supported by the Rotary Club.
The festival runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lawn chairs are welcome so bring one and plan to stay awhile.
The Bingham-Waggoner Estate is an 1852 mansion and estate once owned by George Caleb Bingham, the famous Missouri artist. The estate is located at 313 W. Pacific Avenue in Independence, Missouri.
