Faulkner’s Ranch is a 25-acre ranch that combines food, entertainment and events for family-friendly fun in Kansas City. It’s a great place for local fall fun.
Faulkner’s Ranch is open for pumpkin season daily except Mondays from September 30 through October 30, 2022.
Faulkner’s Ranch & Pumpkin Farm Admission
For the 2022 season, tickets to Faulkner’s Ranch must be purchased online to guarantee admission.
Admission prices for 202 are as follows. These prices do NOT include tax or fees.
Tuesday – Thursday: $13.50 (plus tax)
Friday – Sunday: $18.50 (plus tax)
Kids 2 and under are FREE.
Gift Shop & Pumpkins
There is no admission charge to stop by and shop for pumpkins, donuts or fall decor around the harvest barn.
All pumpkins are pre-picked and include mini pumpkins, pie pumpkins, deep orange ones with long stems for jack-o-lantern carving and lots more that are fun to decorate with. Straw bales, mums and corn stalks are also available.

Gift shop and pumpkin purchasing hours for this season are:

Friday – Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Optional Pumpkin Season Attractions:
Faulkner’s Ranch offers some optional attractions you can take part in for an additional cost for $5.50 each.
These extras are available at select days and times so it’s a good idea to call ahead to confirm if there is something you really want to do.
Pony Rides – ages 3-11, 100 pounds or less; select hours daily.
Zipline – must be at least 3 years old, not more than 125 pounds; select hours daily.
Corn Cannon – Saturday and Sundays only; Saturday and Sunday only.
Mechanical Bull – height requirement of 48 inches or taller; Saturday and Sunday only.
Bring an appetite for fun and food. There are plenty of goodies for purchase including seasonal specialties like pumpkin spice donuts and apple cider donut sundae.
Faulkner’s Ranch Special Events 2022
Faulkner’s Ranch hosts several special events during Pumpkin Season. Here is what we’ve found for this year.
Opening Day: The 24th annual pumpkin season kicks off at Faulkner’s Ranch on September 30.
Halloween Egg Hunt: Wrap up pumpkin season with the annual Halloween Egg Hunt from noon to 3 p.m. on October 29. Kids ages 3-12 can participate. Costumes are encouraged.

Opening Weekend: On Oct. 2-3, enjoy live entertainment and music during the festivities of Faulkner’s Ranch first weekend of pumpkin season. Indulge in seasonal favorites of pumpkin spice donuts, apple cider slushies, pulled pork nachos and more.
Pumpkin Par-tay: The DJ Jack-O-Lantern cranks up tunes along with games and contests on Oct. 9-10.
Wild Western Weekend: A variety of live country bands from Kansas City are playing Oct. 16-17. Visitors are encouraged to dress up in their cowboy and cowgirl gear of boots, hats, bandannas and flannels.
Spirit of KC Weekend: Paint the ranch red by wearing your Kansas City Chiefs gear on Oct. 23-24. KC Wolf is making an appearance on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. The ranch is also collecting donations for the following organizations:
Community Assistance Council: new or gently used hats, gloves, scarves, and coats.Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue Foster and Adoptions: paper towels, sheets, gently used dog toys, leashes, and collars.Healing Chair: monetary donations (accepted at each register) to provide reclining lift chairs and support to mastectomy patients to aid in their recovery at home.
