Free Music & Display at Country Acres Christmas Lights Extravaganza

Country Acres Christmas Lights display is a drive outside Kansas City, but worth the trip.

More than 63,000 Pixels and 189,000 channels of lights dancing to music make up this display you can enjoy for FREE from the comfort of your car. Be sure to turn off your headlights while watching the show.

There are four different shows on a four-day rotation. Each show lasts about 30 minutes. Highlights include a 47-foot tall tribute tree you can walk underneath it and look up to see the designs, as well as a 33-foot Messer Tree and a new animated dollhouse.

Upon arrival, dim your lights and tune your radio to 107.1. You can park across the street in an empty lot.

According to their Facebook page, the schedule of music combines a selection of traditional Christmas songs, children’s music and patriotic songs. Here is what you can expect on your visit:
